On July, 17-19th in water area of the Big pond of Ekaterina's park of the State memorial estate "Imperial village" will pass X World championship and IX European championship on vodno-motor sports in a class "the future Formula".
Children will take part in competitions, young men and girls at the age from 8 till 18 years. Competitions are spent in five age groups-classes. Into structure of each command enters no more than 2 sportsmen in each class.
For participation in the championship have already given demands of a command of Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Russia. The command of Malaysia has withdrawn the demand. The recommendation of Ministry of Health of Malaysia about restriction of participation of commands and delegations of this country, especially youth, in various international actions because of fear of infection with virus А1N1 became the response reason.
С 17 по 21 мая 2017 года в Санкт-Петербурге прошли всероссийские соревнования по водно-моторному спорту в классе мотолодка FF –скоростное маневрирование, слалом (1-5 класс).
4 марта в клубе Спортинг Монте-Карло, в Монако, прошла восьмая Гала-церемония чествования спортсменов водно-моторников по итогам 2016 года.
4 марта 2017 года в Монако в зале Sporting Monte-Carlo состоялось традиционное награждение чемпионов мира предыдущего, 2016 года. Среди них награждали и чемпионов "Формулы Будущего".
На заседании комитета «Formula Future», которое состоялось 17 октября 2016 года в рамках 89-й Генеральной ассамблеи Международного союза водно-моторного спорта, было рассмотрено предложение национальной Федерации Германии о введении нового возрастного класса спортсменов в Правилах проведения соревнований «Формула будущего».
